Stewart Road Dental has been caring for the Ashgrove community since 1942 — one of the longest-established dental practices in the inner north. While the practice has changed hands over the decades, the commitment to genuine, personalised care for local families has remained constant.

Stewart Road Dental is independently owned and operated — a small practice by design, where the same familiar faces look after you every visit. We’re not a large clinic with rotating staff and back-to-back appointments. We’re a tight-knit team that takes the time to know our patients and build genuine long-term relationships.
Our approach to dentistry
We take a conservative approach to treatment. We recommend only what you genuinely need, take the time to explain our findings clearly, and never pressure you into treatment you’re not ready for.
Prevention is always our first preference — we’d rather help you maintain a healthy smile than treat problems that could have been avoided. Dentistry works best as a long-term relationship, and that’s what we’re here to build.

My name is Sally, and I’ve been working in the dental industry since 2013. Over that time I developed a genuine passion for dentistry — not as a clinician, but as someone who cares deeply about how practices work and the experience patients have.
What I observed over the years was that dentists carry an enormous amount — the clinical responsibility of caring for their patients alongside the pressures of running a business. When those two things compete for attention, something has to give.
In 2024 I took over Stewart Road Dental with a clear purpose — to create an environment where our clinicians can focus entirely on their patients, without distraction. When Arthur or Mavis is with you, that appointment is all that matters.
I genuinely believe that when clinicians are supported to do their best work, patients receive better care. That’s what we’re building here.
