The people behind your care
Dr Arthur Walsh
Dr Arthur Walsh graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1991 and has spent over 35 years building expertise in restorative, aesthetic and implant dentistry. He completed surgical implant training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London and a Master Course in Advanced Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Manchester in 2010. His particular areas of interest are dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and dento-facial aesthetics. Known for his calm, unhurried approach, Arthur takes genuine pride in helping patients feel confident in their smiles.
Mavis Liaw
Mavis is a dual qualified Oral Health Therapist and Dental Therapist with a strong background in periodontal care and preventive dentistry. She is able to provide fillings and restorative treatments for patients under 18, making her an invaluable part of the team for families. Mavis has a particular interest in paediatric dental care and in helping nervous patients feel calm and comfortable. Warm, thorough and genuinely passionate about oral health, she has a natural ability to connect with patients of all ages.
Sally
Sally has worked in the dental industry since 2013, beginning as a dental assistant before moving into practice management. She took over Stewart Road Dental in 2024 with a clear purpose — to create an environment where clinicians can focus entirely on patient care. Her particular focus is on the patient experience, from your first phone call through to the moment you leave the chair. Sally holds a Certificate III in Dental Assisting and a Bachelor of Medical Science.
